Crash Tested AGAIN: AGV Sport Laguna 1 Piece Suit: Author K3 Chris Onwiler

Continued protection proves performance:

When we tested the AGV Sport Laguna 1 Piece Suit last summer, (see report) we fell in love with its graphics, ventilation, light weight and the ease of movement it allowed. The suit just plain worked. See article @ Motonation's Blog: What's New?

Of course there is that potential in any crash (for injury) but the Laguna (1-PC Suit) is so well engineered and constructed that if you do take injury, the gear won’t be to blame. Second, although our Laguna has required repair after each of its crashes, the damage has been minimal. After either fall the suit could have been used to finish out the event without immediate attention.

It should be noted that both these crashes were front end tucks in right-hand corners, so the suit took its abuse twice in the same locations. How’s that for efficient testing?

The bottom line is that even as we continue to slowly destroy our AGV Sport Laguna (1-PC Suit), it continues to impress. For its price point and the material chosen to make it so comfortable, this suit has proven itself to be utterly dependable when crashed; in fact it has exceeded our expectations. We love these leathers for their style and comfort but based on what we’ve learned from their crash performance, we’d have to rate the Laguna (1-PC Suit) as a seriously good investment.
