The battle for the 2011 motocross world title is on. On Sunday, June 5th, the French circuit at Saint Jean d’Angely hosted the fifth stage of the world title championship. The reigning MX1 class of French GP saw hometown idol Steven Frossard clinch victory as he managed to stay ahead of the phenomenon from the Sidi stable, Tony Cairoli. Even though he didn’t score a win, Cairoli, as always, put on a great show during the race, and he did himself proud on the dirt in France.
Sidi Crossfire, Technology & Design. When he’s straddling his bike, Cairoli can always count on his Sidi Crossfire boots, the number one footwear in the off road collection by Sidi. The Crossfire is THE boot for motocross champions. It’s a boot that features enviable characteristics and stands out as a veritable jewel of technology and design. Unbeatable on any terrain and in any type of weather, this boot is produced with cutting edge materials, featuring attractive shapes and solutions that promise the most comfort and safety to the foot without sacrificing performance.
With his second place in race1 and third place in race2, the Sicilian pilot from KTM took the second step on the podium in the final GP standings, acquiring important points towards the world title. The 2011 World Title is Tony Cairoli’s main objective for the season, and he’s only six points away from the current leader, the Belgian Desalle.
