Antonio Cairoli has scored another magical double, and to do so he chose the best of all places, Belgium, a land of great champions where motocross hangs in the air and stirs up the excitement from the crowd.

In the Belgian Grand Prix that took place on Sunday, July 31st, on the circuit in Lommel, in Limburg, Cairoli literally dominated the race, winning both race1 and race2. Cairoli doubled down on his 2010 success, proving that he has a good relationship with this circuit. It’s a very technical tract made more treacherous by the sandy surface but this was no problem for the World Champion.

Sidi Sport is pleased as punch because in addition to Cairoli on the highest step of the podium, they could also celebrate a solid third place by Germany’s Maximilian Nagl, both riders members of the strong Red Bull Teka KTM Factory Racing Team. Not to mention the third place in race1 by Portugal’s Rui Goncalves.

As always, Sidi Crossfire boots accompanied the riders on to the podium. Tony Cairoli is forging himself as the master of this MX1 season, well on his way to conquering the 2011 World title, even though there’s a ways to go to the end of the championship.
With the points he collected in Belgium Cairoli has further lengthened his lead in the rankings over his direct rival, Belgian Desalle, who came in second in his home town Grand Prix, right behind Cairoli. The first-rate Sicilian is raking up record numbers, and in Belgium he signed his fourth season victory and the forty-first in his career.
